During the Symposium, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between ICAI and VRC Netherlands. It was signed by Mr. Atul Gupta ji, ICAI President and Albert Gagliardi, Chairman of the Dutch Controllers Institute VRC (Vereniging van Register Controllers). ICAI launched its first European chapter at Amsterdam in the Netherlands on 1st June 2017. The event was inaugurated by CA Nilesh S Vikamsey, President of ICAI, Ms.Maaike Veeningen, Vice Mayor of Amstelveen and Shri Vijay Kumar Jaiswal, First Secretary of Indian Embassy.
The event was held on 6th November 2017 at World Trade Center in Amsterdam. Keynote for the event was delivered by Marten van der Burg - Director General Economic Relations, Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Other eminent speakers in the event includes H.E.
